About us
The EM Geophysics Lab is a research group based at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Our group focuses on advancing computational electromagnetic geophysics. We are experts in numerical simulation and inversion, which alllow us to image the subsurafce from measured electromagnetic (EM) data; this is often referred to as EM Imaging. Beyond EM imaging, we aim to develop novel methodoliges for integrating EM geophysical data with information from other disciplines (e.g., satellite remote sensing, geology, geochemistry, hydrology). The ultimate objective is to address societal challenges in exploring and sustainably managing natural resources such as groundwater and minerals.
